| Minimum Qualifications | Master's degree in Hospital Administration, Health Services or Healthcare Management from an HEC-recognized institution. Candidates holding a recognized medical degree (MBBS) in addition to the above qualifications will be preferred. Additional credentials in healthcare leadership, hospital management, strategic planning and health systems management are desirable. |
| Experience | Minimum 12 years post-qualification experience in hospital administration and management, including service in a tertiary-level teaching hospital providing undergraduate and postgraduate training with a minimum capacity of ~500 beds. Preference for candidates with substantial senior management experience (including director/deputy director or equivalent roles). |
| Key Responsibilities | Provide strategic and operational leadership for hospital management; ensure efficient functioning of clinical and non-clinical services; planning, performance monitoring and quality improvement; support delivery of patient-centered, safe and responsive care; compliance with MTI framework, Board directives and statutory regulations; financial oversight including budgeting, procurement and internal controls; human resources and organizational development; and implementation of policies and institutional objectives. |
