A leading child protection organization based in Karachi is seeking a dynamic, dedicated, and result-oriented professional for the position of Missing Children Investigation Officer to support recovery, reunification and protection of missing and abused children across Pakistan.

Position Missing Children Investigation Officer
Location Karachi
Purpose Support investigations related to missing and abused children, conduct field inquiries, and contribute to research and case analysis to strengthen child safeguarding mechanisms.
Key responsibilities
  • Conduct field investigations relating to missing children.
  • Coordinate with police, government departments, hospitals, shelters and community stakeholders.
  • Conduct interviews, fact-finding inquiries, and evidence gathering.
  • Prepare investigation reports, case summaries, and progress updates.
  • Follow up on leads and assist in child tracing, recovery and reunification efforts.
  • Undertake investigative research on cases involving missing and abused children.
Eligibility / Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree from a recognized university.
  • 5–10 years of relevant experience in investigations, field operations, journalism, law enforcement, social development, or related sectors.
  • Strong analytical, communication, interviewing and report-writing skills.
  • Ability to work independently and undertake field assignments when required.
  • Must be a resident of Karachi with strong knowledge of Karachi's localities, neighborhoods, communities and administrative jurisdictions.
