Pakistan Railways – Contract Re-engagement: Sub Engineer Signal (BS-11) – 8 Vacancies (LHR / KYC / SUK)

Pakistan Railways Headquarters (Lahore) invites applications for re-engagement of retired Signal Department staff on a one-year contract (subject to physical fitness and possible one-year extension). Appointments are on contract basis to meet operational requirements at designated locations.

Eligibility & Qualifications: Retired officials who previously held the post of Sub Engineer Signal (BS-11) or Signal Inspector (BS-10) in Pakistan Railways with age not exceeding 62 years, and having Matriculation or a Diploma of Associate Engineering (DAE) in Electrical / Electronics / Telecom (Board of Technical Education). Alternatively, candidates with DAE in Electrical / Electronics / Telecom and over 30 years' experience in Railway Signalling projects are eligible.

Age Limit: Maximum age 62 years.

Contract & Remuneration: Appointments are on contract for one year; salary will be drawn according to last pay drawn with admissible contract allowances. Contracts may be extended for another year based on performance. Contract appointees will not be entitled to gratuity or pension benefits. Selected candidates must pass medical fitness examination at Pakistan Railways Hospital.

Documents Required: Attested copies of educational certificates, Computerized National Identity Card (CNIC), photocopy of Pension Payment Order (PPO), service certificate, three recent passport-size photographs, and three stamped envelopes with complete postal address and cell number. (Submit only the documents requested and attested copies as specified.)
