Invitation to Bids: Disposal of Large Transformer, Pumps & Motors – Karachi (MM-BID-SCH-002/2025-26)

Public sector organization invites sealed bids from registered scrap merchants, recyclers or material management firms registered with the sales tax department for purchase of listed scrap items. Bids will be received and opened on the date/time shown below at the Head Material Management office in Karachi.

How to obtain bidding documents: Tender documents are available from the site office of the Head Material Management located near Javed Bahira Housing Society, opposite HASCOL Fuel Pump, Karachi-75400 between 08:30 and 16:00 hrs (except Saturday, Sunday & public holidays). Fee: Rs. 1,000 per bidding document (non-refundable). Payment by Pay Order/Bank Draft in favor of "Directorate of Technical Support" only; cheques, cash, postal orders or bank guarantees will not be accepted.

Submission requirements: Bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope. Documentary evidence of National Tax Number (NTN) and Trade Certificate must be attached. GST registration evidence (as required by FBR) and company/firm NTN should be provided. Original National Identity Card must be presented by persons purchasing documents or attending bid opening. Where applicable, any tax exemption certificate must be attached.

Evaluation & award: Tenders will be awarded to the highest rate quotation(s) for purchase of the listed scrap items. Government-prescribed taxes (Advance Income Tax, GST and other applicable taxes) will apply as per rules. The competent authority reserves the right to accept or reject any or all quotations at any stage without assigning any reason.

Other important notes: On the opening date no bidding document will be sold. If the due date is a holiday, bids will be opened on the next working day.
