Karachi Port Trust (KPT) invites applications for the engagement of an IT Consultant on a contract basis to provide database and related IT consultancy services. The post requires strong hands-on experience with RDBMS, database administration, development, performance tuning, backup/recovery and related data-integration/reporting technologies.

IT Consultant (Contract)	01	Relevant degree in Computer Science/IT or equivalent Strong RDBMS knowledge: MS SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL; PL/SQL, T-SQL Database administration: backup & recovery, clustering/replication, performance tuning Experience with BI/ETL/reporting tools (SSIS, SSRS, SSAS) and database design Familiarity with Windows/Linux environments and SAN/NAS/disaster recovery setups	Karachi	Monthly remuneration up to PKR 74,000 (as per notice)
