Punjab Election Commission: Tender for Sale of Election Waste Paper (Scrap)

The Office of the Provincial Election Commissioner, Punjab (Court Street, Lahore) invites sealed tenders for the sale of waste/scrap paper generated from general elections, by-elections, cantonment board and local government elections. The lot totals approximately 321,520 kg with a reserve price of Rs. 65 per kg (total reserve Rs. 20,898,800). A bid security/call deposit of 10% of the reserve price (Rs. 2,089,880) must be submitted as required.

Bids must be submitted in a single-stage sealed envelope in accordance with PPRA rules; bids will be opened at 11:30 am in the presence of bidders' representatives. A pre-bid conference will be held on 2020-08-03 at 10:00 am at the Provincial Election Commissioner's office in Lahore. Eligible firms should have at least three years' relevant experience and demonstrate a minimum turnover (three-year evidence) of Rs. 30,000,000. Successful bidders will be required to provide a performance guarantee and comply with payment and applicable government tax requirements.
