Pakistan Railways Tender Notice — Sale of Unserviceable Public Assets (Lahore)

Issuer: Pakistan Railways, Headquarters Office, Lahore. Sale of unserviceable/scrap public assets on "AS IS WHERE IS" basis by sealed tenders.

Purpose & items: Multiple lots of condemned/unserviceable material including scrap rails, wheels, steel, timber, condemned coaches/vehicles, electric motors, batteries, pipes, fittings, coach parts, and other miscellaneous railway materials. Each lot is offered separately under distinct tender numbers with individual quantities and estimated values.

Eligibility & documentation: Bidders/firms must be registered for Income Tax and Sales Tax and appear on the Active Taxpayer List. Bidders must submit copies of CNIC, Sales Tax/NTN registration certificate (if applicable), proof of active taxpayer status, and power of attorney/authorization for company representatives where required.

Payment & bid security: Bids must be accompanied by the specified earnest money/bid security (as per tender document) in the form of a Bank Pay Order/Deposit in favor of Chief Controller of Stores, Pakistan Railways. Successful bidders must complete payments and remove material within the timelines and conditions specified in the tender documents.

Procedure & inspection: Material is sold on "AS IS WHERE IS" basis. Interested parties may inspect the lots at the specified yards/locations listed in the tender documents. Sealed tenders must be submitted to the Chief Controller of Stores, PR/H.Q Office, Shahrah-e-Abdul Hamid Bin Badis (Empress Road), Lahore. Submission and opening times are stated in each tender package.
