Pakistan Railways Tender: Sale of Unserviceable Public Assets (Multiple Lots)

Issuer: Pakistan Railways, Headquarters Office, Lahore. Sealed tenders are invited for the sale of various unserviceable public assets and condemned railway material held at different yards and depots.

Scope: Multiple lots of material including scrap rails and rail sections, broken and discarded sleepers, scrap wheels/axles/tyres, condemned goods wagons and passenger coaches, bogies, frames, underframes, condemned engines/locomotive components, miscellaneous metal scrap and associated parts. Lots are located at various Pakistan Railways yards (different cities/depots).

Who may apply: Bidders/firms registered with Income Tax and Sales Tax authorities and appearing on Active Taxpayers List (ATL). Bidders must submit proof of registration, valid CNIC/NTN (for individuals/firms), tax verification documents, and required bid security as specified in the tender documents.

How to bid: Tender documents are available for purchase as per terms and conditions in the tender notice. Bids must be submitted in sealed envelopes by the specified deadline for each lot and will be opened publicly at the stated date and time. Bid security (earnest money) and other documentary requirements must accompany each bid as described in the tender documentation. Pakistan Railways reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids as per rules.

- 2026-08-27 at 11:00 AM (initial group of lots: various scrap rails, sleepers, rail sections, assorted scrap)

- 2026-09-10 at 11:00 AM (further lots including condemned goods wagons, coaches and assorted scrap items from multiple yards)

- 2026-09-24 at 11:00 AM (additional lots including large consignments of scrap material and condemned rolling stock)
