Pakistan Railways, Headquarter Office Lahore, Project Implementation Unit (PIU) – ML-1 (China Pakistan Economic Corridor Support Project, CPECSP) invites applications from qualified, experienced Pakistani nationals on a contract basis for the following project position based at the PIU/ML-1 Office, Lahore (liable to serve anywhere in Pakistan).

| Financial Analyst / Specialist (MDB Financial Management & Loan Disbursement) (PPS-11) | 01 | PIU/ML-1 Office, Lahore (liable to serve anywhere in Pakistan) | Master’s degree (minimum 16 years) in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, Economics, Business Administration (Finance) or equivalent HEC-recognized qualification. Professional qualifications such as CA, ACCA, CMA (ICMA) or CPA preferred. | Minimum 10 years of post-qualification experience in financial management including accounting, budgeting, financial reporting and loan disbursement. At least 5 years’ experience on MDB-funded projects (ADB, World Bank, AIIB, IsDB, etc.) preferred. Experience with withdrawal applications, SOEs, direct payments, reimbursements, donor financial compliance, ADB Loan Disbursement Handbook, ADB financial management guidelines, government financial rules/PSDP procedures, PIFRA/SAP, IPSAS/IFRS, ERP-based systems, advanced MS Excel/financial modelling. Experience in large infrastructure, railway or CPEC-related projects is an advantage. | 55 years |
Terms & Contract: One (01) year contract, extendable subject to satisfactory performance, project requirements and availability of funds. Pay package as per PPS-11 under the Project Pay Scale Policy; salary to be fixed commensurate with qualifications and experience.
