CDA Tender: Electrical Works at Islamabad High Court and Official Residences (Aug 25, 2026)

Issuer: Capital Development Authority (CDA), Electrical Division-II. Type: Invitation for sealed percentage-based bids for electrical works at Islamabad High Court (IHC) buildings and earmarked official residences. Bidders must be duly enlisted with the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) in the appropriate category and codes, hold a valid PEC license, possess an Electrical License issued by the Electrical Inspector Islamabad, and have NTN and GST registration.

Key submission requirements:

- Bid security / earnest money: Deposit at Call (CDR) generated from the firm’s account, clearly indicating the firm name, issued by a scheduled bank in favour of Deputy Director, Electrical Division-II, CDA.

- Original CDR must be delivered to the office of Deputy Director, Electrical Division-II, CDA (Shop No OT, Bazar No 08, Street No ST, Sector G3-6/4, Islamabad) before closing hours on 2026-08-20.

- Bids must also be submitted online through the e-procurement portal (e-PADS) before the opening date/time.

- Unsuccessful bidders’ bid securities will be returned after award or on expiry of validity. The bid security of unsuccessful bidders may be retained/deposited in CDA bank account and released to the firm’s account after acceptance of the winning bid.

- If the total quoted amount is more than 10% below the NIT amount, the bidder must enclose an additional call deposit (CDR) as Performance Security equal to the difference between the NIT amount and the total quoted amount less 10% of the NIT amount. Bids below 10% of NIT without the additional CDR will be rejected.

- Bidders must submit an undertaking on stamp paper (attested by a notary) of not less than Rs.50 that the firm/contractor is not involved in litigation and is not blacklisted by any government/semi-government/autonomous body in Pakistan.
