KMC Engineering Department Tenders – Street Lighting Improvement & Rehabilitation (Karachi)

Karachi Metropolitan Corporation (KMC), Office of the Executive Engineer C.M (E&M) Engineering Department, invites sealed bids through the EPADS e-Procurement System on a Single Stage One Envelope basis for multiple improvement & rehabilitation works of street lighting across Karachi. Bids must be submitted online via the EPADS portal and comply with the requirements below. Physical submission of Pay Order/Cost and supporting eligibility documents as specified in the NIT is also required at the office of the Superintending Engineer (E&M), KMC, 512 J.M. New M.A. Jinnah Road, Gurumandir, Karachi before bid closing.

Key submission details: Bids to be submitted online on or before 2026-08-21 by 10:00 AM; online opening on 2026-08-21 at 10:30 AM. Bid security: 5% of the estimated cost for each package. Tender document fee: PKR 5,000 (non-refundable) per package. All bids must be submitted through the EPADS portal (http://portalsindh.eprocurement.gov.pk) in accordance with SPPRA rules. Firms must provide an affidavit (stamp paper) stating they are not blacklisted and must submit required pay orders and supporting documents physically as instructed in the NIT.

Other important notes: Ensure all bidding documents are downloaded from the EPADS portal and uploaded online as instructed. Any bid received after the stipulated time will be rejected. The procuring agency reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids as per SPPRA Rules 2010.
