MES Tender: Emergency Works — Provision of Facilities at PAF Bases (Multiple Packages)

Military Engineer Services (Office of D/W&CE (PAF) Chaklala) invites sealed tenders for emergency works for the provision of certain facilities at PAF bases under PPRA Rule 42(c)(v). Multiple independent packages are advertised with estimated costs (PKR Million) as shown below. Tender documents will be issued only to firms that meet the stated experience, registration and documentation requirements; tenders must be submitted to the Accepting Officer by the stated deadline and will be opened on the same day.

Key requirements & instructions:

- Applicants must submit applications for issuance of tender documents together with complete credentials as required (see requirement checklist). Tender documents will be issued only to firms that satisfy experience and other special conditions for the job and area.

- Contractors must provide a certificate confirming they are not involved in any litigation with any Government Department and that no special report of Directorate of Inspection and Evaluation (E-In-C’s Branch GHQ) is outstanding against them.

- All contractors must be registered with Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) and submit a copy of registration. Contractors not registered with PEC are ineligible.

- Contractors should be on the approved list of MES in categories ‘A’ and ‘B’ and have relevant experience.

- Tenders must be received in the Office of the Accepting Officer by 1130 Hrs on 17 Aug and will be opened at 1200 Hrs on the same date.

- Contractors may be present at the time of opening of tenders. The Accepting Officer reserves the right to accept or reject any tender; rejected tenders will be dealt with as per Para 33(1) of PPRA Rules.
