A leading organization is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Assistant Manager – Taxation based in Karachi. The role requires tax compliance, return filings, dispute handling and tax reporting experience.

Position Assistant Manager – Taxation
Location Karachi
Qualifications Minimum part-qualified professional certification or MBA (Finance/Law). A full professional qualification is a plus.
Experience Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in taxation, tax litigation and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
  • Timely and accurate filing of monthly Sales Tax Returns (Federal & Provincial), annual Income Tax Returns and withholding statements.
  • Reconcile tax returns with general ledgers to ensure reporting accuracy.
  • Draft prompt replies to tax department notices, assist in filing appeals before Commissioner (Appeals) and maintain records of legal proceedings and notices.
  • Prepare and manage regular tax position and MIS reports to track current and upcoming tax liabilities.
