Issuer: Karachi Water & Sewerage Corporation (KW&SC). KW&SC invites applications for taxation positions to manage and oversee the corporation's tax functions, ensure statutory compliance and optimize tax position.

Position	Vacancies	Key Responsibilities	Minimum Qualifications & Experience
Deputy Manager / Deputy Director Taxation	1	Oversee and supervise all tax-related activities (assessment, collection, filing) and ensure compliance with federal, provincial and local tax laws. Develop and implement tax strategies and planning to minimize liabilities and cost savings. Prepare/review and coordinate timely submission of tax returns, statements and statutory documents; advise management on tax implications of operations and transactions. Represent the organization in correspondence/negotiations with tax authorities and external auditors; coordinate tax audits and responses to tax queries/notices.	Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Law or related field. Professional certification (CA/ACCA/ICMA/LLB Taxation) preferred. At least 8 years relevant taxation experience, with a minimum of 3 years in a supervisory or managerial role. Sound knowledge of federal and provincial tax laws; strong analytical, negotiation and communication skills; proficiency in tax management/accounting software.
Assistant Manager / Assistant Director Taxation	2	Prepare and file tax returns, payments and statutory documents within prescribed timelines; assist in computation and reconciliation of tax liabilities. Support Deputy Manager in tax planning, audits, internal audits and assessments; maintain tax documentation and records. Coordinate data collection and provide required information for taxation purposes; address tax authority queries and assist in accurate responses.	Master's or Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Law or related field. Partial/professional qualifications in taxation/accountancy preferred; PFM an advantage. Minimum 3–5 years' relevant experience in taxation or accounting; knowledge of federal and provincial tax laws; good analytical, organizational and IT skills.

Terms & Conditions:

Appointments will be on contract basis for a period of 3 years, extendable based on satisfactory performance.
All appointments are subject to codal formalities, verification and administrative requirements.
Positions are based in Karachi. Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted. No TA/DA for interview.
