Key Qualifications & Requirements
Basic qualification: MBBS or equivalent medical qualification recognized by PM&DC. For basic sciences, M.Sc. of a recognized university in the relevant subject (for non-clinical disciplines).
Postgraduate qualification: D.Sc., Ph.D., FCPS, MD, MS, M.Phil. in the respective subject or FCPS/MD with DPH (for Public Health Institutes) or an equivalent qualification recognized by PM&DC.
Experience: Either (a) minimum 5 years teaching experience as an Assistant Professor in the respective subject at a postgraduate institute, or (b) 8 years teaching experience as an Assistant Professor in an undergraduate medical institution.
Research: At least 3 research papers produced. (If teaching experience is under graduate institution, at least 5 research papers are required.)
Other Important Instructions
- Appointment will be made on regular basis according to applicable rules and regulations of the Institute.
- Age relaxation will be granted as per Federal Government rules. Disability, minority, women and transgender quotas will be observed.
- Government servants should apply through proper channel. Provincial/Federal government employees with a minimum of 2 years regular service may be eligible for age relaxation (subject to maximum age limits).
- Incomplete applications or applications received after the due date will not be entertained. Only shortlisted candidates will be called for interview. No TA/DA will be admissible for test/interview/joining.
