Public Notice — Membership Verification and Receiver Appointment for Kaghan Cooperative Housing Society, Karachi

Order dated 13-05-2026 (Suit No. 3345 of 2026: Rehmatullah & Others v. Province of Sindh & Others) of the Vth Senior Civil Judge, Karachi West & Special Court for Cooperative Societies appoints Mr. Muhammad Hammad, Incharge Nazir / Receiver, to supervise the affairs of Kaghan Cooperative Housing Society Limited and to scrutinize and verify the membership record for the purpose of conducting elections.

Members are instructed to cooperate with the Receiver to prepare the final verified membership list so that free, fair, transparent and lawful elections for 2026 can be held in accordance with the Sindh Cooperative Societies Act, 1920, the Rules framed thereunder, and the Society's bye-laws.

Key instructions:

- Office hours for verification: Monday to Thursday, 03:00 p.m. to 07:00 p.m.

- Two members nominated under the Court order will be present at the Society Office to assist members during verification and scrutiny.

- Members must submit photocopies of their membership file along with all relevant documents, including allotment letters, transfer/lease documents, demand drafts, conveyance deeds or any other supporting record, at the Society Office within one (01) month from the date of publication of this notice to enable completion of membership verification.

- Failure to submit the required documents within the stipulated period will result in the member's case being considered and decided in accordance with the Court's orders and the record available before the Receiver.
