PASSCO Invitation to Bid: Sale of 8,197,989 M. TONS (+15%) Damaged Wheat (As is Where is)

Issuer: Pakistan Agricultural Storage & Services Corporation Limited (PASSCO).

Purpose: Invitation to submit sealed bids for the sale of damaged wheat (not safe for human consumption) on an "As is Where is" basis, quantity stated as 8,197,989 M. TONS (+15%). Bidders are required to purchase the bid document and comply with the terms and conditions in the bid document.

Key conditions:

- Bid price: Quote inclusive of all taxes and dues, but exclusive of labour, filling, loading/unloading and handling charges; quoted in Pakistani Rupees per Metric Ton on the prescribed bid form.

- Bid security: Each bid must be accompanied by bid security for the relevant centre in the form of Pay Order, Demand Draft or Banker’s Cheque issued by any scheduled bank in Pakistan in favour of PASSCO. Cash, cheque, call deposit receipt (CDR), security deposit receipt (SDR) or bank guarantee will not be acceptable and will lead to rejection.

- Bid document purchase: Mandatory purchase of the bid document for Rs. 3,000/- (non-refundable) in cash from the Account Officer of the concerned PASSCO Zonal Office. Proof of purchase must be submitted with the bid. The bid document may also be viewed on the PPRA website (https://www.ppra.gov.pk) and PASSCO website (https://www.passco.gov.pk) for information only.

- Bid validity: Bids shall remain valid for sixty (60) days from the opening date of the bid.

- Submission and opening: Signed and sealed bids complete in all respects must be submitted to the concerned PASSCO Zonal Head / Supervisory Officer (Damaged Wheat) and placed in the bid box at the respective PASSCO Zonal Offices (zones mentioned include D.A. Yar, Alipur and Hafizabad). Bids received will be opened at the respective PASSCO Zonal Offices on the dates and times specified in the bid document.

- Further information: Interested parties can obtain further information from the Office of GM (Commercial), PASSCO Head Office, Lahore and the concerned Zonal Head / Supervisory Officer (Damaged Wheat) during office hours (0800–1600).
