PASSCO Invitation to Bid: Sale of Damaged Wheat (8,197,989 MT +15%)

Issuer: Pakistan Agricultural Storage & Services Corporation Limited (PASSCO). PASSCO invites sealed bids for the sale of 8,197,989 M.Tons (+15%) of damaged wheat (unfit/not suitable for human consumption) lying at various PASSCO zones on an "As is Where is" basis. Bidders are deemed to have read and understood the bid document terms and conditions.

Key conditions:

• Bids must quote rates in Pakistani Rupees per metric ton inclusive of all taxes and duties but exclusive of labour, filling, loading/unloading and handling charges.
• Bid security is mandatory for each centre and must be submitted as a Pay Order / Demand Draft / Banker’s Cheque issued by a scheduled bank in Pakistan in favour of PASSCO. Cash, ordinary cheque, CDR/SDR or Bank Guarantee will not be accepted.
• Bid document may be viewed on PPRA and PASSCO websites for information. Purchase of the bid document (non-refundable fee of Rs. 3,000 in cash) from the Account Officer of the concerned PASSCO Zonal Office is mandatory; proof of purchase must be submitted with the bid.
• Signed and sealed bids must be addressed to the concerned Zonal Head / Supervisory Officer (Damaged Wheat) and submitted in the bid box at the respective PASSCO Zonal Offices by the date/time shown for each lot. Bids will be opened at the respective PASSCO Zonal Offices on the dates/times shown.
