| Educational / Professional Qualification | Minimum Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, Commerce or related discipline from an HEC-recognized university. Preference for candidates with a Master’s degree (MBA/MPM/MSc etc.) and professional qualifications such as CA, ACCA, CMA or equivalent; and relevant audit/compliance certifications. |
| Experience | Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in banking, financial services, an audit firm or the corporate sector, of which at least 3 years must be in internal audit, compliance, risk management or related functions. |
| Key Responsibilities | Develop, implement and maintain risk, audit and compliance frameworks; lead and oversee internal audit and compliance reviews; coordinate with internal agencies; manage regulatory engagement and responses; identify control gaps and recommend remediation; produce regular reporting to senior management; support governance and regulatory requirements. |
| Skills & Knowledge | Strong knowledge of regulatory and compliance frameworks in banking; hands-on experience in internal audit/compliance/risk; analytical and report-writing skills; ability to design audit/risk frameworks and control assessments; good communication and stakeholder management; proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). |
