MEPCO Multan Tender No. 04/GSC (2026-27) – 132kV D/C Transmission Line Tower Foundations (Bahawalpur)

Multan Electric Power Company Limited (MEPCO) - Project Director (GSC), Multan invites e-bids (Single Stage - Two Envelope) under National Competitive Bidding (NCB) for construction of tower foundations for a 132kV D/C transmission line from 220/132kV G/S Bahawalpur (Shaikh Mari Shajra) to New 132kV Grid Station DHA Bahawalpur (12 KM) (deposit work).

Key eligibility & bidding requirements (summary of requirements stated):

- Valid Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) registration: minimum Category C-5 with Specialization Code CE-10 and CE-02.

- Active Tax Payer List (ATL) status; income tax returns for the last three years.

- Completion of at least two contracts of similar nature as main contractor within the last ten years awarded by WAPDA / NTDC / DISCOs; consolidated value of those contracts must exceed 60% of the estimated/BOQ cost.

- Registered for sales tax with Punjab Revenue Authority.

- Average annual turnover (supported by FBR tax returns and certified auditor) of at least 1.5 times the BOQ amount for the last three years; current bank statement must demonstrate at least 25% balance amount of the work in bank.

- Contractors with two or more ongoing works that are delayed beyond stipulated time will not be considered.

- Financial bids of only technically qualified bidders will be opened. Tender validity: 150 days after opening date.
