Pakistan Mineral Development Corporation (PMDC) invites applications for the post of HR Consultant on a one-year fixed term contract to strengthen strategic human resources functions at its Head Office, Islamabad.

| Experience | Approximately 20 years post-qualification experience in handling strategic HR operations in large-scale industrial units in Pakistan or abroad. Minimum 5–8 years' experience in a Functional Head / Leadership role in public sector organizations / GOEs with headcount of ~2,000+ employees. Experience with compensation frameworks, labour unions/CBA, HR policy implementation, ERP systems, succession planning and HR governance is essential. Preference for candidates from the mining/energy sector. Cross-functional experience in administration, supply chain or industrial relations is highly desirable. |
| Key Responsibilities (summary) | Develop and execute HR strategy aligned with corporate objectives; lead organizational restructuring and workforce optimization; manage industrial relations and collective bargaining; design compensation, benefits and recognition frameworks; establish talent management, leadership development and succession plans; improve performance management and organizational development; ensure HR policies comply with labour law and corporate governance; advise CEO/MD and Board on human capital and cultural change initiatives. |
