Pakistan Mineral Development Corporation (PMDC) invites applications for the post of HR Consultant (individual) on a fixed‑term contract basis for one year to strengthen strategic human resource functions.

QualificationMBA or Master’s degree in a related field from an HEC‑recognized or international institution
ExperienceAt least 20 years post‑qualification experience in strategic HR operations in large‑scale industrial units in Pakistan or abroad. Minimum 5–8 years’ experience in a functional head/leadership role in public sector organizations is required. Experience in dealing with CBA and labour unions, compensation frameworks, talent management, succession planning and HR governance is essential. Preference for candidates with mining/energy sector background; cross‑functional experience in administration, supply chain or industrial relations is highly desirable.

Location / PostingPMDC Head Office, Islamabad (Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM)
Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute HR strategy aligned with corporate objectives.
  • Lead organizational restructuring, workforce optimisation and HR transformation initiatives.
  • Support management in industrial relations, collective bargaining and labour matters.
  • Design compensation, benefits and reward frameworks to ensure market competitiveness and internal equity.
  • Develop performance management, leadership development, succession planning and retention strategies.
  • Establish talent management, learning & development and SOPs to ensure compliance with labour laws and governance requirements.
  • Advise CEO/MD and Board on human capital planning, organisational culture and change management.
