Pakistan Mineral Development Corporation (PMDC) invites applications for the post of HR Consultant (Individual) on a one-year fixed-term contract to support strategic human resources functions at PMDC Head Office, Islamabad.

Position	HR Consultant (Individual) — Fixed Term Contract (1 year)
Qualification	MBA or Master’s degree in a related field from an HEC-recognized or international institution
Experience	Minimum 20 years post-qualification experience in strategic HR operations in large industrial units (Pakistan or abroad). Minimum 5–8 years in a Functional Head / Leadership role in Public Sector Organizations / SOEs of Pakistan with a headcount of 2,000+ preferred. Strong experience in labour relations (CBA), compensation frameworks, talent management, succession planning and HR governance.
Preferred	Experience in the mining/energy sector; cross-functional exposure in administration, supply chain or industrial relations
Age Limit	Maximum 65 years on the last date of application submission
Key Responsibilities (Terms of Reference)	Develop and execute PMDC’s HR strategy aligned with corporate objectives. Lead organizational restructuring, workforce optimization and HR transformation initiatives. Manage industrial relations, collective bargaining and labour union engagement. Design compensation, benefits, rewards and recognition frameworks to enhance competitiveness and internal equity. Establish talent management, leadership development, succession planning and employee retention mechanisms. Implement performance management and organizational development programs; design training interventions. Develop SOPs, HR policies and ensure compliance with labour laws and corporate governance requirements. Serve as strategic HR advisor to CEO/MD and Board on human capital planning and change management.
Location & Posting	PMDC Head Office, Islamabad — working hours Monday to Friday (09:00 to 17:00)
Contract & Remuneration	Fixed-term contract; market-based remuneration package
