Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD), Project Implementation Unit (PIU), invites Expressions of Interest (Individual Consultant Selection) for a Procurement Specialist for the Integrated Flood Resilience and Adaptation Project (IFRAP) – Strengthening Hydromet and Climate Services / Modernization of Hydromet Services in Pakistan (MHSP).

| Procurement Specialist | Master's degree or equivalent (minimum 16 years of education) in business, engineering, procurement, logistics, management, supply chain management or equivalent. Diploma/certification in procurement, supply chain or project management will be an advantage. | At least 8 years of verifiable documentary experience after acquiring the required qualifications in procurement of goods, works, consulting and non-consulting services. Demonstrated knowledge and implementation experience of national and international procurement rules/regulations (World Bank procurement experience preferred). Strong skills in procurement processes, contract management, familiarity with procurement of consulting services, excellent written and verbal English, and proficiency with MS Office and project management tools. |
Contract and Location: The specialist will be engaged on a contract basis and will work full-time with the PIU at PMD, Islamabad.
