Pakistan Railways Tender: Outsourcing 5 Schools on PPP (Rehabilitate, Upgrade, Operate & Transfer)

Issuer: Pakistan Railways, Headquarters Office, Lahore (Director General/Education). Pakistan Railways invites proposals for outsourcing five Pakistan Railway schools on Public-Private Partnership (PPP) basis under the Rehabilitate, Upgrade, Operate & Transfer (RUOT) model for a concession period of 30 years (including 2 years mobilization period).

Scope: Rehabilitation, upgrade, operation and transfer of listed operational schools. Interested firms/companies/bidders may obtain the Request for Proposal (RFP), bidding documents and draft agreement from the Pakistan Railways website or from the Office of Director General/Education, Pakistan Railways Headquarters, Empress Road, Lahore. Obtaining the RFP from the office requires payment of Rs. 10,000 in cash (mandatory for participation).

Application details: Technical and financial proposals must be prepared and submitted in sealed envelopes as specified in the RFP. A pre-bid conference will be held at the Directorate of Education, Pakistan Railways Headquarters, Empress Road, Lahore (refer to RFP for exact date/time). The RFP specifies bid security, submission procedures and other eligibility/qualification requirements. Pakistan Railways reserves the right to accept or reject any or all proposals and to withdraw the bidding process at any time without giving a reason.
