RFQ: Upgrade Equipment for Enhanced Tourist Experience — KITE Project

Issuer: Project Management Unit (PMU), Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Integrated Tourism Development Project (KITE) funded by the World Bank (IDA). Purpose: Procurement of upgrade equipment to enhance tourist experience and site management at archaeological and tourism sites.

Scope (selected items):

Sites covered: Jamal Ghari, Takht i Bahl, Bhamala, Saidu Sharif Stupa, and Akra Mound.

Procurement method: Request for Quotation (RFQ) under World Bank Procurement Regulations (Investment Project Financing; Works, Non-Consulting and Consulting Services). The RFQ is open to all eligible bidders as defined in the Procurement Regulations.

How to obtain documents: Download a complete set of RFQ documents from the project website (www.kite.gkp.pk) or request by email at [email protected]. Bidders may inspect bidding documents during office hours (09:00–17:00) at the address below.

Submission requirements: Sealed quotations must be delivered to the office address below on or before 14:00 hours on 2026-07-20 and must be accompanied by bid security in favor of the Project Director, PMU KITE, of PKR 500,000 in the form of an irrevocable unconditional bank guarantee issued by a scheduled bank of Pakistan, a Call Deposit Receipt (CDR), or a pay order. Quotations must include all applicable taxes. No negotiations will be allowed at a later stage.
