Court Notice: Appearance Required in Gas Theft Recovery Case — Karachi (22 August 2026)

Sui Southern Gas Company Limited has filed a recovery suit in the Gas Utility Court, Karachi under Section 6(3) of the Gas Theft Control and Recovery Act, 2016 seeking Rs. 456,000 against Munir Ahmed, Muhammad Saghir s/o Jan Muhammad, Momin Khan s/o Marwat Khan (Proprietor, Chichkil Sweet) for premises at House No. 1527-D, Azizabad, Karachi.

Defendants are ordered to obtain permission to appear and to present their defence in court on 22 August 2026 at 08:30 AM. Permission to appear may be sought within 21 days by application supported by affidavit showing a bona fide defence. If defendants fail to appear, the plaintiff may obtain a decree after the 21-day period for up to Rs. 456,000 plus costs and interest as ordered by the court.
