National Grid Company of Pakistan (NGC) has submitted an EIA application for the Construction of a 500 kV Chakwal Grid Station on Jhelum–Chakwal Road. The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), Punjab has admitted the application under Section 12 of the Punjab Environmental Protection Act, 2012 and has scheduled a public hearing. All stakeholders and the general public are invited to submit comments and/or attend the hearing.
