Auction Notice — Minor Minerals Leases, District Karak (Auction: 2026-09-10)

District Auction Committee, District Karak (Minerals Development Karak) invites applications from registered minor-mineral contractors for auction and grant of minor-mineral leases for individual areas for a period of one year on an “as is where is” basis under the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Mines & Minerals Act, 2017. Public auction will be held in the office of the Deputy Commissioner Karak on 2026-09-10 at 11:00 AM (if auction is not held, the next date is 2026-09-11 at 11:00 AM).

Key application & participation requirements:

• Only firms/persons registered with the Directorate General Mines & Minerals, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa as Minor Minerals Contractors are eligible to participate.
• Applicants must submit the prescribed application form with required documents at least three (03) days before the auction. Last date for submission: 2026-09-07.
• Non-refundable application cost: Rs. 10,000 (Ten Thousand) plus applicable sales tax as per Khyber Pakhtunkhwa law.
• Call deposit (earnest money) amounts are specified against each area in the advertisement and must be deposited before the auction. Deposits/payments are to be made through Bank of Khyber (account numbers given in the notice).
• Blacklisted/defaulting contractors are not eligible to participate. Successful bidder must deposit 4% of the total bid money within three days of auction; failure will forfeit the call deposit and allow award to the next highest bidder under the terms stated in the notice.
• Successful bidder will be bound to pay Excise duty, Professional Tax and other government levies as applicable and will be responsible to work the lease strictly in accordance with the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Mines & Minerals Act, 2017 and related rules.
