Key auction & payment terms
- Earnest deposit: Bank Draft / Pay Order / CDR / Banker's Cheque of PKR 500,000 in favour of The Bank of Punjab, to be submitted with a copy of CNIC and mobile number.
- Payment instrument must have the property Sr. No. and address written on the back and be submitted before commencement of bidding on the auction date.
- Bidding will start as per the above schedule at the site. The Bank may accept bids provisionally at the spot and inform successful bidders.
- Advance tax under Section 236A of the Income Tax Ordinance, 2001 is applicable (5% for filers & 10% for non-filers as stated).
- On final acceptance, 25% of the bid amount to be paid within 7 days; balance within 30 days, failing which the sale will be cancelled and deposit forfeited.
- Bank will return instruments of unsuccessful bidders on the same day. The Bank can reject any or all bids without assigning reason.
- Successful bidder is responsible for transfer costs, applicable federal/provincial taxes and vacating the property at their cost. Full transfer will be effected after receipt of full sale consideration and taxes (within 30 days).
- Other terms & conditions, if any, will be announced before the commencement of bidding.
