| Educational / Professional Qualification | Minimum Bachelor’s degree in IT / Computer Science / Engineering or equivalent, or Graduation with a Master’s degree in IT / Computer Science (or equivalent) from an HEC-recognized local or international university/college/institute. Relevant certifications preferred. |
| Experience | Minimum 08 years of experience in software development of financial and/or banking applications. Experience with core banking applications (FIS profile) preferred. |
| Technical Skills & Knowledge | Java / J2EE / Spring MVC / MUMPS / Web-based applications; C++ / OOP; Eclipse / NetBeans; Tomcat / WebSphere / GlassFish; .NET / C# / Visual Studio (3.5 and above); Oracle / SQL Server / JDBC / RDBMS concepts. Strong communication, teamwork, understanding of software design, operating systems, database management, computer networking and security. Familiarity with agile methodologies and tools such as Jira, Confluence, SVN/TFS/GIT. |
| Key Duties & Responsibilities | Lead and manage software developers; deliver solutions on core banking applications; mentor and guide software development team; coordinate with project managers to allocate resources; manage development and deployment of new applications, systems, software and enhancements; implement development processes and metrics to improve team performance; translate business requirements into technical solutions; design, code, test, debug, document, implement and maintain software; provide production support; prepare technical specifications, test plans and QA procedures; recommend code reuse or new code as appropriate. |
| Assessment | Only shortlisted candidates meeting eligibility criteria will be invited for panel interview(s). |
| Employment Type & Terms | Contractual engagement for three years (may be renewed at Management’s discretion). Selected candidates will be offered a compensation package and other benefits as per Bank’s policy. |
