Mandatory requirements: Pakistan Engineering Council registration with concerned codes; earnest money equal to 5% of estimated cost in the form of CDR from a scheduled bank in Punjab in favour of Chief Officer District Council Bahawalnagar. Original CDR must be submitted before the specified time; failure to submit will be handled as per relevant PPRA circular. If lowest quoted rate is equal to or less than 5% below estimate, the lowest bidder must deposit additional performance security (from 5% to 10%) within 15 days of issuance of notice; refund after issuance of completion certificate by Engineering Branch in accordance with PLG (works) rules.

Other conditions: Bid documents are free to download. Procuring agency may reject any or all bids as per PPRA rules. Contractors awarded work must carry out required quality control tests at their own expense. Bids of defaulters/slow-working contractors may be rejected or approved at the discretion of the Administrator District Council Bahawalnagar.
