Tender: Supply & Transportation of 1,000 MT Sodium Hypochlorite and Procurement of Liquid Chlorine for Karachi (FY 2026-27)

Issuer: Karachi Water & Sewerage Corporation (KW&SC), Office of the Executive Engineer, Store & Purchase Division.

Purpose: Annual rate-contract procurement of 1,000 metric tons sodium hypochlorite with transportation for chlorination of pumping stations across Karachi, and procurement of liquid chlorine for chlorinated water supply for FY 2026-2027.

Eligibility & Qualification Requirements:

• Valid registration with Sindh Revenue Board (SRB), Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) and Active Tax Payer List (ATL).
• Experience: Possess experience of carrying out three (3) similar works completed during the last three years (from July 2022 to June 2025). At least one similar work with minimum cost 80% of the estimated cost, or two similar works with minimum 50% each.
• Financial: Submit Income Tax returns for the last three years and Financial Audit reports for the last three years; average annual financial turnover not less than the equivalent of the estimated cost over the last five years.

Bid Security & Payment: Bid security in the prescribed form/amount to be submitted. Tender fee and non-refundable Tender Cost as specified above; pay order in favour of "Karachi Water & Sewerage Corporation" for submission of Tender Cost where required.

Procurement Method & Submission:

• Method: Single Stage one envelope procedure under Rule-46(1) as per SPP Rules-2010 (amended).
• Bidding documents to be downloaded from the EPADS (SPPRA Sindh) portal (http://portalsindh.procurement.gov.pk) and submitted online via EPADS.
• E-Bid submission deadline: 2026-08-28 by 03:00 PM (bids to be uploaded/submitted on EPADS).
• Bid opening / Announcement: 2026-08-28 at 03:30 PM in the office of the Accounts Officer (Zone-II) / Secretary Repair & Maintenance Works, KW&SC. Venue: Room No.12-A, 1st Floor Block “C”, 9th Mile Karsaz, Shahrah-e-Faisal, Karachi.

Funding: KW&SC Own Funds (Budget Allocation for Financial Year 2026-2027).

Important Notes & Conditions:

• All required documents and company profile must be uploaded on EPADS in proper manner; non-compliant firms may be declared "FAILED" and eliminated from evaluation.
• Affidavit that firm has never been blacklisted (duly notarized) is required.
• Bids not accompanied by required bid security, incomplete forms, late submissions, or conditional bids will be rejected.
• KW&SC reserves the right to accept/reject any or all bids before award as per Sindh Public Procurement Rules.
