National Bank of Pakistan (NBP) invites applications for the senior executive position of Chief Technology Officer (SEVP) based in Karachi. The CTO will report to the President & CEO and lead the Bank’s technology strategy, delivery, cyber security, digital transformation and IT operations.

| Experience | Minimum 22 years of experience in Information Technology, preferably in banking, with at least either 5 years as CTO or similar role OR 8 years in a senior leadership role (one level below CIO/CTO). Strong track record in core banking, IT strategy, technology infrastructure, cyber security, digital initiatives, cloud, data analytics and vendor management is required. |
| Key Competencies & Skills | Leadership and people management; development and delivery of enterprise IT strategy; program/project delivery (core banking, technology infrastructure, digital and analytics); cyber security and regulatory compliance; vendor/contract management; budgeting and financial controls; stakeholder engagement with regulators and senior management. |
| Employment Type | Senior management position on a contractual basis (three-year contract with possible renewal); remuneration and other terms as per Bank’s policy |
| Selection | Shortlisted candidates will be called for interview/assessment. Selection will be based on eligibility criteria and merit. |
