Zarai Taraqiati Bank Limited (ZTBL) invites applications for the position of Resident Shariah Board Member (RSBM) based at the Bank's Head Office in Islamabad. The role requires an experienced Shariah scholar with strong grounding in Islamic jurisprudence, banking & finance, and practical Shariah advisory experience for Islamic financial institutions.

Location	Head Office, Islamabad
Key Qualifications	Shahadat al-Almiya (Dars-e-Nizami) or equivalent degree from a recognized board of Madaris; or postgraduate degree in Shariah/Usul/Fiqh (e.g., Kulyyat ash-Shariah, LLM or equivalent) from a recognized university. Preference to candidates with Takhasus fil-Fiqh certification and relevant Islamic finance credentials.
Experience	At least 4 years' experience issuing Shariah rulings including Takhassus fil-Ifta, OR at least 5 years' post-qualification experience in teaching or R&D in Islamic Banking & Finance. Additionally, preference for candidates with a minimum of 3 years' experience as a Shariah Advisor or member/deputy member of a Shariah Board of an Islamic Financial Institution.
Responsibilities	Provide Shariah guidance, clarification and opinions on products, documents and processes. Review and respond to Shariah-related queries and ensure compliance of products and business activities with Shariah rulings. Support training, compliance testing and the development of Shariah-related procedures and controls. Submit reports/clarifications to the Shariah Board and coordinate with relevant departments (e.g., SCID & Training).
Age & Remuneration	Maximum age: 62 years as on closing date. Market-competitive remuneration.
