Final Notice to Defaulting Leaseholders – Peshawar Economic Zone (KPEZDMC)

Issuer: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Economic Zones Development & Management Company (KPEZDMC). Purpose: Final public notice to leaseholders/allottees of industrial plots in Peshawar Economic Zone who have failed to comply with lease deed terms, applicable policies, rules and regulations.

Default grounds include (but are not limited to): failure to commence construction within the prescribed period; construction limited to a boundary wall or insignificant structures without establishing the approved industrial unit; keeping allotted industrial units closed, non-operational or abandoned for an extended period (more than seven years); non-payment of outstanding dues payable to KPEZDMC; and unauthorized or non-conforming use of allotted industrial plots.

Action requested: All defaulting leaseholders/allottees are granted a final opportunity to appear before the Zone Manager, KPEZDMC, Peshawar Economic Zone within thirty (30) days from the date of publication of this notice and submit:

Consequences of non-compliance: Failure to comply within the stipulated period may lead to cancellation/resumption of the lease/allotment, forfeiture of amounts deposited with KPEZDMC in accordance with the applicable Lease Deed, rules and policies, recovery of outstanding dues as arrears of land revenue through the competent District Administration or other legal/administrative action. KPEZDMC may also re-allot industrial plots to genuine investors and take necessary steps including approaching banks/government departments for recovery of loans or outstanding amounts.
