Pakistan Railways (Project: Establishment of Business Development & HR Support Unit) invites applications on a contract basis for multiple positions. Appointments will be made under the Project Pay Package (PPS) system. Place of posting: Anywhere in Pakistan Railways. Tasks include collecting and analysing customer datasets, developing/reporting KPIs and key metrics, setting up/optimizing analytics tools, running marketing initiatives, designing/evaluating marketing strategies, pricing strategy development, and other tasks as assigned. |
| Senior Officer IT | 01 | PPS-08 (as listed) / Max age 45 years | BS (4-year) in Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent; relevant professional certifications (e.g., MCSE, CompTIA A+, Network+); minimum 16 years of education; degrees recognized by HEC/PEC. | Minimum 5 years post-qualification experience in IT support, network and hardware administration, software systems. Demonstrated experience in Windows Server environments, LAN/WAN/Wi-Fi, Microsoft 365 (Teams, Outlook, OneDrive, SharePoint), VPNs, file servers and centralized storage, backup & recovery, troubleshooting and ticketing systems, procurement and installation/configuration of routers, switches and firewalls. Other duties as assigned. |
| Computer Operator | 01 | PPS-04 / Age 18–30 years | Bachelor's / Graduation preferably in Computer Science; minimum 16 years of education; degrees recognized by HEC/PEC. | Minimum 2 years post-qualification experience in relevant IT environment. Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), data entry, imaging, internet and email, basic database management, office record handling and related computer operations. Other duties as assigned. |
| Junior Clerk | 02 | PPS-03 / Age 18–30 years | Matriculation; minimum typing speed 30 w.p.m.; basic IT training / MS Office knowledge (as listed). | Clerical duties including data entry, office correspondence, record maintenance and general administrative support. Other duties as assigned. |
