Issuer: Power Planning and Monitoring Company (PPMC).
PPMC invites Expressions of Interest (EOI) from qualified, experienced national and international professionals to join a Consultant Pool to support technical and policy functions across power sector planning, development and monitoring. Selected consultants will be engaged on an as-needed basis across multiple specialist domains.
Consultant assignment areas and key responsibilities include:

| Operations, Standards & Material Inspection | Develop/update distribution network specifications, standards, material inspection procedures; define testing and implementation standards; support distribution companies (DISCOs) on technical performance and reliability; prepare technical material inspection resources and manuals. |
| Renewable Energy Integration & DSM through advanced digital infrastructure | Provide technical input for DERs (e.g., solar, storage, EVs) integration; advise on SCADA/EMS/ADMS, grid control, monitoring, distributed energy resource management, energy efficiency and demand-side management policies. |
| Policy, Regulatory Affairs & Market Reforms | Develop and update policy, planning and regulatory frameworks; align national electricity policies with international standards; support market design, tariff rationalization and regulatory proceedings. |
| Economics, Finance & Risk Management | Design financing instruments including PPP frameworks, green funds; perform economic/financial analysis, risk assessment and investment appraisals for power sector projects and reforms. |
| Transmission & Distribution Infrastructure Planning | Plan T&D expansion and reinforcement, grid code updates, conduct technical and economic performance assessments, resilience and contingency planning, and prepare studies using power system models. |
