National Power Parks Management Company (Private) Limited (NPPMCL) invites applications for the single post of Chief Executive Officer (CEO). NPPMCL is a public sector company managing combined cycle power plants and related power generation operations. The CEO will provide strategic leadership, ensure efficient operations, regulatory compliance and stakeholder management to support the company’s vision.

Key responsibilities include ensuring smooth operations and maintenance of power plants; developing and implementing business plans aligned with government energy policies; fostering governance, transparency and accountability; liaising with Ministry of Energy, NEPRA, CPPA-G and other stakeholders; implementing Board decisions; managing financial, operational and legal risks; and developing HR strategies.

Minimum qualification: A graduate degree from a Higher Education Commission-recognized institution in one of the following disciplines: Business Administration, Public Administration, Marketing, Finance, Commerce, Engineering (Electrical/Electronics/Mechanical/Mechatronics) registered with Pakistan Engineering Council; or equivalent; or membership of a recognized professional accounting body.

Minimum experience: Demonstrated senior management experience of not less than ten (10) years in roles such as governance or business administration, finance/commerce/marketing with commercial/industrial orientation, as a chief executive in similar organizations with commercial attributes, or at the level of a member of a governing body of a professional institute or as head of a department.

Other requirements: Candidates must comply with the Fit and Proper Criteria under Schedule-IV of the State-Owned Enterprises (Governance and Operations) Act, 2023. Applicants should demonstrate strategic foresight, regulatory acumen, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, leadership, team building and change management abilities.
