Chief Executive Officer (CEO) – National Power Parks Management Company (NPPMCL), Lahore

Issuer: National Power Parks Management Company (Private) Limited (NPPMCL). Vacancy: Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to oversee the company’s power generation operations and corporate management.

Location: Head office in Gulberg III, Lahore. Operations include RLNG combined-cycle power plants at Balloki (District Kasur) and Haveli Bahadur Shah (District Jhang).

Key responsibilities include strategic leadership and direction; ensuring smooth operations and maintenance of power plants; developing and implementing business plans aligned with government energy policy; liaison with Ministry of Energy, NEPRA, CPPA-G and other stakeholders; implementing government policy decisions; timely reporting and implementing Board directives; controlling operational expenditures; identifying and mitigating financial, operational and legal risks; and developing efficient HR strategies.

Minimum qualifications: Graduate degree from an HEC-recognized institution in one of the following disciplines: Business Administration, Public Administration, Marketing, Finance, Commerce, or Engineering (Electrical/Electronics/Mechanical/Mechatronics) registered with Pakistan Engineering Council; or membership of a recognized professional accounting body; or equivalent.

Minimum experience: At least 10 years of demonstrated senior management experience in governance, business administration, finance, commerce, marketing, or in commercially oriented industrial/organizational settings; or experience as a Chief Executive/Senior Management in similar commercial organizations; or equivalent leadership at the level of a governing body member or head of department.

Other requirements: Must meet the Fit & Proper Criteria under Schedule-IV of the State-Owned Enterprises (Governance & Operations) Act, 2023. Candidates should demonstrate strategic foresight, regulatory acumen, strong leadership, team-building and change-management skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Maximum age: 58 years on closing date.

Term: Performance-based contract for three (03) years, extendable at the Board’s discretion and subject to applicable laws.
