Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP) invites applications for senior positions in the Data Science & Research Department. Appointments will be made on a contractual basis for an initial term of three (3) years, extendable based on organizational need and performance. | Director / HOD (Data Science & Research) — 01 post | PhD in Economics, Finance, Applied Mathematics or a related discipline from an HEC-recognized institution. | At least 15 years of progressively responsible experience (acquired after completion of a Master’s/Bachelor’s degree equivalent to 16 years of education) in areas related to data science, econometrics, applied mathematics, financial market research, portfolio development and risk management. Experience in economic research and capital market policy is required. | Not to exceed 50 years as of closing date. |
| Joint Director (Research) — 01 post | MPhil/MS in Economics, Finance or a related discipline from an HEC-recognized institution. Preference will be given to candidates with a PhD. | Minimum 10 years of professional experience acquired after completion of a Master’s/Bachelor’s degree (16 years), with experience in data analytics, financial research or risk management and demonstrated contributions to projects or policy development. | Not to exceed 45 years as of closing date. |
| Deputy Director (Research) — 01 post | MPhil/MS in Economics, Finance or a related discipline from an HEC-recognized institution. Preference will be given to candidates with a PhD. | Minimum 7 years of professional experience acquired after completion of a Master’s/Bachelor’s degree (16 years), with relevant experience in data analytics, financial market research or risk management and demonstrable contributions to projects. | Not to exceed 40 years as of closing date. |
| Deputy Director (Systemic Risk) — 01 post | Master’s/Bachelor’s degree (equivalent to 16 years of education) in Business, Finance or a related discipline from an HEC-recognized institution, or professional qualifications such as CA/CMA/ACCA. Candidates with CFA/FRM or equivalent will be preferred. | Minimum 6 years of post-qualification experience in the financial sector with strong background in risk analysis and modelling, familiarity with risk management frameworks and hands-on experience in monitoring/reporting. | Not to exceed 40 years as of closing date. |
