HESCO Addendum No. 2 — Tender PK-HESCO-NEW (GIS) for 132 kV GIS Substation & 132 kV Line at River Bund — Bid Deadline 2026-07-07

Hyderabad Electric Supply Company (HESCO) has issued Addendum No. 2 to RFB No. PK-HESCO-NEW (GIS) RIVERBUND GS & NEW T/LINE-NCB/06 for the design, supply, installation, testing and commissioning of a new 132 kV GIS (Gas-Insulated Substation) grid station with one (01) 40 MVA power transformer and associated 132 kV feeding transmission line at River Bund. This addendum was issued on 2026-06-29 and forms an integral part of the bidding documents.

Key clarifications and changes made by the addendum include revised bid validity dates, updated bid submission and bid opening deadlines, and a clarification on the acceptable form of bid security (unconditional bank guarantee issued by a bank located in the Employer’s country).

Bid Security / Guarantee

The addendum replaces the text in ITB 20.3(a),(b)&(c) to specify that an unconditional guarantee issued by a bank (bankers guarantee) from a non-banking financial institution is not acceptable. Any unconditional bank guarantee must be issued by a bank located outside the Employer’s country only if it can be made enforceable in the Employer’s country; otherwise a bank located in the Employer’s country must issue the guarantee.

All other terms and conditions of the Standard Procurement Documents and Specific Procurement Notice remain unchanged.
