HEC Introduces Fully Online Paperless Degree Attestation System (Effective May 11, 2026)

Issuer: Higher Education Commission (HEC), Pakistan. Effective date: May 11, 2026. HEC has launched a fully online, paperless Degree Attestation System to replace the existing degree verification process.

Key features: Applicants can apply 24/7 through https://eservices.hec.gov.pk and will receive digitally verifiable e-Attestation certificates. No physical visit to HEC is required, no hard-copy document submissions are needed, and only original documents will be attested (photocopy attestation discontinued).

Important instructions for existing applicants: Applicants who have already applied and paid the attestation fee will be processed under the previous method up to the deadline of 2026-06-30. Applicants who had not paid the attestation fee under the previous system are advised to apply through the new online system.
