Public Hearing (EIA) for New 132 kV Vanike Tarar Grid Station and Transmission Line, Hafizabad

Issuer: Gujranwala Electric Power Company Limited (GEPCO). Purpose: Public hearing on the Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) report for the construction of a new 132 kV AIS Grid Station (Vanike Tarar) and the associated transmission line connecting to the existing Nokhar–Kolo Tarar line.

• Copy of the EIA and related documents are available for review on the Punjab EPA e-Portal and GEPCO’s offices/website.
• Written comments, suggestions or objections from affected persons and stakeholders may be submitted to the Director (EIA), Environmental Protection Agency, Punjab, as per the EPA e-portal procedures and contact details provided by the Agency and GEPCO.
• All stakeholders and members of the public are invited to attend and present comments, proposals or concerns during the public hearing or submit them in writing beforehand.
