NUML Islamabad Invites Bids for Student/Staff Pick-and-Drop Bus Services

Issuer: National University of Modern Languages (NUML), H-9 Islamabad. NUML invites sealed bids from registered transport firms/companies for providing pick-and-drop transport facility for university students, faculty and staff.

Scope: Transport services for the listed routes. Bidders may participate in all deputed routes. Buses must be model 2016 or newer (or as per Federal Government rules in vogue) and bear a certificate of fitness by the Motor Vehicle Examiner. Drivers must be experienced and hold valid HTV/PSV licences.

Document & Fee Details: Bidding documents are available from the date of publication on submission of a written request on company letterhead to the Office of the Transport Officer, NUML Islamabad. A non-refundable Bid Document Fee of Rs. 10,000/- is required (Pay Order/Demand Draft) as per PPRA Rule 23(5). Tender fee challan will be collected from the Transport Office, NUML Islamabad.

Bid Security: Earnest money of Rs. 980,000/- (as per PPRA rules 2004) in the form of COR/Demand Draft/Pay Order in favour of the Rector, National University of Modern Languages.

Procedure & Submission: Bids shall follow Single Stage Single Envelope procedure. Sealed bids, in conformity with bidding documents, must reach the Office of the Director Administration, NUML, not later than 9 July 2026. Bid closing time: 10:30 hrs; bids will be opened same day at 11:00 hrs in the presence of bidders or authorized representatives. Incomplete, unsigned, unstamped, unsealed, without bid security or late bids will not be considered. The University may reject all bids prior to acceptance as per Rule 35, PPRA-2014. Electronic proposals will not be entertained except as required through the PPRA e-Procurement Portal (EPADS).
