Allama Iqbal Open University Islamabad — Invitation for Bids for Refurbishment Works (2026-27)

Allama Iqbal Open University (AIOU), Islamabad invites electronic bids under e-PAKs (e-PADS) from eligible contractors for refurbishment works planned during the financial year 2026/27. Bidders must be registered with Pakistan Engineering Council and be active taxpayers. Bids must be submitted and processed through the e-PADS portal; original bid security must be presented as required.

Important instructions and conditions:

- Eligibility: Contractors must be registered with Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) and appear on the Active Taxpayers List (Income Tax & Sales Tax) with Pakistan Engineering Council registration for the year 2026-27. Bidders should have relevant experience, including execution of turnkey/refurbishment/interior decoration projects where applicable.

- Bid Submission: Bids must be prepared and submitted online through the e-PADS portal by 10:30 PST on 2026-07-06. Late submissions will not be accepted. Bids will be opened at 11:00 PST on 2026-07-06.

- Bid Security: Each bid must be accompanied by the required Bid Security in the form and amount specified in the bidding documents. A scanned copy of the Bid Security must be uploaded to e-PADS; the original must be submitted as directed in the bidding documents.

- Pre-Bid Meeting: A pre-bid meeting will be held virtually on 2026-06-22 at 11:00 hrs. Prospective bidders must follow instructions in the bidding documents for participation.
