PASSCO Invitation to Bid — Sale of 8,197,989 M.Tons Damaged Wheat (As-is-Where-is)

Issuer: Pakistan Agricultural Storage & Services Corporation Limited (PASSCO). PASSCO invites sealed bids for the sale of 8,197,989 M. Tons (≥15%) damaged wheat (unfit / not safe for human consumption) on an "As is Where is" basis, lying at various PASSCO zones. Bids will be governed by the terms and conditions in the bid document.

Key conditions:

• Bidders must quote rates in Pakistani Rupees per Metric Ton inclusive of all taxes and duties but exclusive of labour, filling, loading/unloading and handling charges.
• Each bid must be accompanied by bid security as mentioned in the tender document for the relevant centre, in the form of Pay Order / Demand Draft / Banker’s Cheque issued by any scheduled bank in Pakistan in favour of PASSCO. Cash, cheque, Call Deposit Receipt (CDR), Security Deposit Receipt (SDR) and Bank Guarantee are not acceptable.
• Purchase of the bid document is mandatory for participation: Rs. 3,000 (non-refundable) in cash from the Account Officer of the concerned PASSCO Zonal Office. Proof of purchase must be submitted with the bid.
• All bids shall remain valid for sixty (60) days from the opening date of the bid.
• Signed and sealed bids for the damaged wheat of each respective zone must be submitted in the bid box placed at the respective PASSCO Zonal Office by the date and time specified below. Bids will be opened at the specified PASSCO Zonal Offices on the dates/times shown.
