National Tariff Commission Concludes Sunset Review of Anti‑Dumping Duties on Phthalic Anhydride Imports

Issuer: National Tariff Commission (Government of Pakistan). Purpose: Conclusion of a sunset review under Section 58 of the Anti‑Dumping Duties Act, 2015 concerning anti‑dumping duties on dumped imports of Phthalic Anhydride originating in or exported from the People’s Republic of China, Chinese Taipei, Russian Federation and Republic of Korea.

- Applicants / domestic producers who requested the review: M/s Nimir Chemicals Pakistan Limited and M/s PACRAN Global (Private) Limited.

- Period of Review (POR): January 01, 2023 to December 31, 2025.

- Determination: The Commission concluded the sunset review and has set definitive anti‑dumping duty rates to continue on imports from the exporting countries for a further five (05) years.

Effective period: The definitive anti‑dumping duties will apply for a further five (05) years with effect from June 05, 2026.
