National Database & Registration Authority (NADRA) invites applications for the post of Assistant Director (Database Security) at its Headquarters in G-5/2, Islamabad. The role focuses on database security, implementation and management of database protection solutions, and related monitoring and incident response activities.

| Educational Qualification | Bachelor's (4-year) in Computer Science / Information Technology / Cyber Security / Information Security / Computer Engineering / Electrical & Electronics Engineering or equivalent from an HEC-recognized institution (degrees must be attested by HEC). |
| Experience & Eligibility | Minimum 2 years post-qualification experience in a reputable organization in Information Security, Information Technology, Database Administration or Network Device Administration. Relevant security certifications and product-specific badges (preferred). Information Security certificates such as CISA or equivalent are preferred. |
| Key Responsibilities | Installation, configuration and maintenance of security appliances and database security solutions; deployment and management of database agents (e.g., Guardium) and their monitoring; security incident discovery, classification and response; vulnerability analysis; privileged user activity monitoring; implementation of database protection, backup, disaster recovery and data protection mechanisms; and implementing cybersecurity controls for on-premises and cloud databases. |
| Preferred Skills | Hands-on experience with database security tools and agents, incident monitoring and investigation, scripting/automation for processes, reporting and documentation, and strong communication skills for coordination and stakeholder reporting. |
