Pakistan Mineral Development Corporation (PMDC) invites applications on an open-contract basis for the position of Manager (Geophysics) at its Head Office. The post requires advanced geophysics qualifications, substantial post-qualification experience in mineral exploration and geophysical data acquisition/interpretation, and supervisory experience.

| Qualification | BS/MS/MPhil in Geophysics or Applied Geophysics (Ph.D. preferred) from an HEC-recognized institution; minimum 16 years of education. Relevant professional training desirable. |
| Experience | At least 8 years relevant post-qualification experience after completion of BS, including a minimum of 3 years in a supervisory or technical lead role. Experience in mineral exploration, geophysical data acquisition, processing, interpretation, quality control and integrated subsurface modelling required. |
| Age | Maximum 38 years as of the last date of application submission. |
| Preference | Candidates with domicile of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KPK) & Balochistan will be preferred. |

Key responsibilities (summary): plan, design and execute integrated geophysical programs for mineral exploration; define survey grids and acquisition parameters; lead QA/QC, data acquisition, processing and interpretation; supervise field operations and contractors; prepare technical reports, maps and recommendations; develop 2D/3D subsurface models and support drilling/exploration targeting; ensure compliance with safety, HSE and recognized industry practices.
